Nokia Joins Ericsson in Winning Algerian LTE Contract

Nokia says that it has won a contract to deploy a LTE network in Algeria for the state owned operator, Algerie Telecom.

Under the contract, Nokia says that it provided its Single RAN Advanced solution for the majority of the LTE network.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The announcement follows a couple of weeks on from a similar statement from Ericsson though — suggesting that they shared the network rollout contract.
